We regret the inconvenienced caused as a result of a jammed valve which caused the interruption of water supply to some units in Wing ‘B’ from 5.30pm to 9.30pm. It was initially presumed that it was a pipe failure but on investigation, it was found that the cause was a jammed gate valve. Water supply was resumed at 9.30pm and if residents find that the water is ‘dirty’, kindly let it flow for about 3 to 5 minutes or when the water is clean.
Please take note that the water tanks are currently being cleaned as an annual maintenance to ensure clean water supply. However, this should not disrupt water supply as each tower has 2 water tanks of which 1 tank out of 6 is washed at any one time. We regret the incident as this could be coincidental that it happened on the same day as the tank cleaning but we are monitoring the situation.
