The system for the programming of the access cards for the lobby doors is down due to a lightning strike. This means that a very small percentage of newer access cards will not be able to be programmed to open the lobby doors until the system is repaired.
One of the AGM items is to make all our access points be on a centralized programming system rather than our maintenance staff having to walk to each individual access point to program - which has been the practice since day one. We are investigating the repair of the lobby doors to be in line with a centralized system otherwise we are throwing money at an old system that may be changed in a few months down the road.
